Dollhouse at the Paley Festival

Even with Dollhouse facing the threat of cancellation, Joss Whedon scored his second straight sellout with his panel on the show, moderated by Matt Roush of TV Guide. That living doll, Eliza Dushku, was there, along with fellow dolls Miracle Laurie and Dichen Lachman, along with Fran Kranz aka Topher, and writers Sarah Fain and Liz Craft, who wrote two episodes. We were not allowed to bring digital recorders, and that included real internet reporters. So this report is mostly  paraphasing, but a fairly good account.

Review: Dollhouse 1.07: "Echoes"

It would have been almost impossible for this episode to top last week, but it’s still a good episode with that Jossian humor people prefer, and proof that the Dollhouse isn’t as indestructable as it thinks it is. It can crumble a bit thanks to a drug, and a flash of memory that Echo gets…from her real past.

Episode Review: Dollhouse 1×06: "Man on the Street"

When Joss Whedon put Dollhouse together, he said the first seven episodes were really pilot shows to get people to understand the premise. After that, the story would really begin.

After five "pilot episodes", Joss has decided now is the time to start telling the real story. "Man on the Street" is an excellent script that takes the show to the next level.
