To reboot or not to reboot, that is the question.

Rebooting Batman and Star Trek paid off, but not so much for the Superman or Terminator franchises. The success of the V remake is still not certain, and fans are waiting for the reboot of the Spider-Man movies.

Now, though, Warner Brothers has announced it will bring Buffy the Vampire Slayer back to the silver screen….without Joss Whedon or Sarah Michelle Gellar or the Sunnydale Scooby Gang, or Angel, or Spike or even Harmony. It will just be Buffy, in a new world.

Some are willing to give it a chance, but most are not.

Between them, they created some of the most unforgettable stories on TV, especially in the Whedonverse.
