We met up with the cast and producers from the highly anticipated new series for The CW, The Flash, while at San Diego Comic Con.

Everybody was on deck to talk about the new CW series, The Flash, at this year’s San Deigo Comic Con. Executive Producer Greg Berlanti, along with series stars, Grant Gustin (Barry Allen), Candice Patton (Iris West), Jesse L. Martin (Detective Joe West), John Wesley Shipp (Henry Allen), Tom Cavanagh (Harrison Wells), and Danielle Panabaker (Caitlin Snow) were in fine form as they shared their experiences with bringing the iconic characters of the comic book series to life for television.

Star of the show, Grant Gustin, talks about taking on the iconic role of The Flash, as well as Barry Allen’s role as a leader of a team.  He also talks about storylines he would like to explore and adjusting to a rigid shooting and training schedule.

The lovely Candice Patton talks about the new CW adaptation of the comic book series, her role as leading lady, Iris West, researching the character and how she wants to see the relationship between Barry and Iris progress.

Greg Berlanti talks about taking on the daunting task (or pleasure) of bringing another iconic comic book hero to the television audience on The CW’s new series The Flash.

When we sat down with the delightful John Wesley Shipp, he  reflected on his time in The Flash suit, himself, as the titular series star back in the 90’s and his returning to the story now, taking on the role of Barry Allen’s father, Henry Allen.

Tom Cavanagh discusses his role as scientist Harrison Wells, dealing with the mythology of the comic book series, working with Greg Berlanti over the years and working with the great comedian, John Ritter.

Danielle Panabaker talks about her character, Caitlin Snow, and her role within Team Flash and the task of learning the vast history of the iconic comic book series.

Jesse L. Martin gives a quick take on his impressions of his first San Diego Comic Con.
