When SyFy’s Lost Girl returns this fall, it’ll feature a familiar face from Buffy the Vampire Slayer….maybe as a Norse goddess.

Charisma Carpenter Tackles the Water CrisisThe Huffington Post’s Maureen Ryan announced that Charisma Carpenter will guest star on Lost Girl as Freyja, one of the most revered Norse goddesses. It’s not known yet what kind of connection she’ll have to the Fae, including Bo (Anna Silk).

Carpenter is best known as Cordelia Chase in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. She also spent two years on ABC Family’s The Lying Game and appeared on Blue Bloods. She’s filming a movie called The Griddle House, which will also star fellow Buffy alums Amber Benson and Claire Kramer.

Production of season five of Lost Girl is underway in Toronto. New episodes are expected later this fall.
