You know him as a writer and producer of amazing television such as Angel, Firefly and Supernatural. Perhaps you also know him as the creator of one of the funniest comic book/cartoon series superheroes ever, The Tick. In fact, he has a “Very Special Thanks” credit in Dr. Horrible, and if you’ve read or seen The Tick, you can see why.
