Just three months after it began, Felicia Day’s Geek and Sundry channel on YouTube has been one of the biggest hits on the internet. It was also a big hit Saturday at Comic-Con, as it packed the Indigo Ballroom at the Hilton Bayfront. Day was there with Kim Evey, and some old friends to announce what will be coming soon.
The Belo Loungue in downtown San Diego became the new home for Geek and Sundry, Felicia Day’s Online TV channel. A big crowd was there during the first day of Comic-Con, as they met Felicia and checked out the channel’s TV shows.
Will fans of the Twilight movies still love those films as fervently ten years from now? We bet they won’t be as dedicated as the army of Browncoats Firefly, that slept on the streets outside Ballroom 20 to make sure they had a spot for a panel commemorating the 10th anniversary of the show. Joss Whedon was there, along with much of the cast.
It’s a rare event when Joss Whedon holds two separate panels during the same day at Comic-Con. On Friday, a few hours after he celebrated the tenth anniversary of Firefly in Ballroom 20, he returned to talk about some other stuff he’s been doing.
