Andy Whitfield, the titular character in Starz’s Spartacus: Blood and Sand, announced that he has been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and will begin treatment immediately in New Zealand.

Felicia Day has signed on to star in SyFy Channel’s Original Movie Red, a re-imagining of Little Red Riding Hood.

There’s two articles on EW.com that concern Neil Patrick Harris!  First and foremost is that he’ll be on Joss Whedon’s Glee episode!  He’ll be playing a bad guy, and this reporter’s most important question is:  Do Bad Guys sing?  Well, if Dr. Horrible is an example, I guess they do.

Also, there will be flashbacks.  So, will the flashbacks include Matthew Morrison and Harris?  Or younger versions?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the CW has renewed SMALLVILLE for an unprecendented tenth season.  The show, which centers around Clark Kent as he journeys along the path to becoming Superman has weathered nine seasons which included a move to Friday nights this past fall — a tough timeslot for any show.  The series held up much better than expected in the timeslot, especially considering it’s long run.
