A Conversation With Joss Whedon

When my boss said they were sending me to SXSW Interactive, I envisioned endless panels on Twitter, Facebook, web development, and Internet security. What I didn’t expect to find was a panel called "A Conversation with Joss Whedon"

However, that’s exactly what I *did* find in the schedule and this morning I was in the audience when Adam Vary from Entertainment Weekly interviewed Joss in front of a packed house at the Austin Convention Center.

Last weekend may have been dominated by football and movie awards, but I spent part of my vacation in Los Angeles at a small Lutheran church in North Hollywood to see a local theater company.

Why that instead of hoping to see a glimpse of George Clooney? The play featured one of the most popular stars in the Whedon universe, Juliet Landau.

On Tuesday, November 29, Live Viewing Japan presented Los Angeles L’Arc~en~Ciel fans with a screening of the band’s 2-night 20^th Anniversary concert. The performances were originally taped on May 28 and 29, 2011 in front of tens of thousands of fans at Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo, Japan.
