Imagine a couple who have dated for less than two months, suddenly waking up married after a wild party in Las Vegas. Sounds like a typical romantic comedy, or even the sixth season of Friends, until you find out the couple are a baseball player and an actor.
AMC announced today make-up effects artist Greg Nicotero has been a named co-executive producer of “The Walking Dead.” Nicotero has also inked a first-look deal with the network, which gives him the opportunity to bring his own passion projects to AMC. At Saturday’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards, Nicotero won Best Prosthetic Make-up for AMC’s “The Walking Dead.”

Nick Brendon, “Xander” from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, will be among the guests at the 2011 Sacramento Sci-Fi Horror Show on Saturday, September 24th at the Scottish Rite Center at 6151 H Street in Sacramento.
