Pith & Mash is a weekly recap where I, rather pithily, take the pith of all the Whedonopolis posts during the week and mash them down into one short and sweet post so that you don’t miss a thing. I pith, and then I mash. Why, yes. Pith can be used as both a noun and a verb, that’s why I like it!

9/15— This one is going to be oddly lengthy, so bare with me. There was a party where you could get dressed up like a zombie, which I thought was cool. Joss did an interview with Marvel where he talked about casting James Spader. Breaking Bad is going to have a spinoff called Just Call Saul. And composer Bear McCreary (Battlestar Galactica) won an Emmy for Da Vinci’s Demons.

9/16— There’s a brand new episode of TV Campfire. Caitriona Balfe (Super 8) was cast for Starz new show Outlander, an adaptation of a book series of the same name. And our very own David Mello talked about the battle between NCIS and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for Tuesday night. He even gave a few suggestions.

9/17— We shared about how the Paley Center would be making a live stream available of their “Legendary Evening with Robin Williams.”

ARR_S2_Colton_s9/18— If you’re in Toronto on Sept. 28, then you should definitely go to the Dr. Horrible screening. And the CW was kind enough to share shirtless posters of their leading men. Thank you, CW. šŸ˜›

9/19— I got to meet Robin Williams at the Paley Center. Video coming soon!

9/20— And of course, we there was the weekly Comic Patrol.

And that’s all the pith in this week’s mash. Got a favorite story? Was there something we missed this week? Do you hate this blog and wish it would go away? Let me know in the comments below! I’ll see you next week!
