As fans of Supernatural await its eighth season in a few weeks, Creation Entertainment will hold three conventions this fall featuring the Winchester Brothers and Castiel. It’s also getting ready for the 18th Sci-Fi Grand Slam, featuring the cast of Star Trek the Next Generation, next February in Burbank. More after the jump…
Jared Padalecki, Jenson Ackles and Misha Collins will all be part of the next three
Supernatural conventions in 2012.  The first one will be in Dallas this weekend. It will also feature Mark Sheppard, best known for playing Crawley on the show, along with Badger on Firefly (which is celebrating its tenth anniversary this weekend). Then, all four men will be part of the Salute to Supernatural at the Sheraton Airport Hotel in Toronto on October 5th-7th. Finally, Padalecki, Ackles and Collins will be at the Westin O’Hare Hotel near Chicago on October 26th to 28th. Jim Beaver, who plays Bobby, will also be at the Chicago event.

Meanwhile, an impressive list of guests is being gathered for the Grand Slam Star Trek and Sci-Fi Summit on February 15th, 2013 at the Marriott across the street from the Burbank Airport. In previous years, the event has attracted Buffy alumni including James Marsters, Anthony Stewart Head, Doug Jones, Nicholas Brendon and Camden Toy. It’s the first time this event has been part of the convention schedule since 2008. So far the list includes Patrick Stewart, LeVar Burton, Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis and Michael Dorn. Also, David Guintoli from Grimm is scheduled to appear. More guests will be announced the closer we get to the event.
