Summer Glau is coming back to TV, planning a hostile takeover that will affect Oliver Queen when season two of Arrow begins this fall.
TV Line has announced that Glau will play Isabel Rochev, VP of Acquisitions for Stellmoor International, a conglomerate that wants to take over Queen Consolidated. She’s considered bad news because she’s on Robert Queen’s “list” of corrupt officials Oliver is supposed to defeat to save Starling City.
Rochev’s plans to get rid of Oliver Queen fits the DC Green Arrow series. She thinks she deserves the company more than he does, but he’ll likely have something to say about that.
This is Glau’s first TV appearance since Hawaii Five-0 and a recurring role on SyFy’s Alphas. She’s also been seen on Dollhouse, The Cape and Firefly.
Arrow returns to the CW on October 9th.
