Congratulations to Juliet Landau (Buffy/Angel) whose award-winning production of DANNY AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA has garnered more awards.

The play was extended 5 times for a 6 month run, garnering 12 out of 12 rave reviews. It won 3 Eddon Awards: Best Lead Actors: Juliet Landau and Matthew J Williamson, Best Production, and Best Star Making Performance: Juliet Landau.
The Scenies are StageSceneLA’s way of recognizing the breadth and depth of talent in Southern California theater, along with pointing a spotlight on performers, directors, designers, etc., whose work deserves to be made known to the theatrical community at large.
If you get the chance to see Juliet in a play, do it. I attended two showings of Danny plus her recent stage reading of The “Bells of West 87th”
And we were just told that Dark Hearts, a film that Juliet shot last year, is having it’s World Premiere at the Raindance Film Festival while she is in London and was nominated for BEST UK FEATURE. Damn good news!
