Honoring Dynamic Women Who Dare to Be Different and Benefiting the Diamond in the RAW Foundation

Whedonverse talent and Action Icon Award recipient Ming-Na Wen (“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D”) and Action Iconic Award recipient Jaimie Alexander (“Blindspot” and Thor: Ragnarok) are among the award recipients attending this Sunday’s “Stuntwomen and Stunt Coordinating” luncheon and raffle.  Purchase tickets to the October 22 event by clicking here.  This year marks the 10-year anniversary of the Action Icon Awards, honoring the unsung heroines behind the scenes; stuntwomen, entertainment professionals and women who Dare to Be Different. Diamond in the RAW Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering and transforming the lives of foster are and at-risk teen girls between the ages of 12-18. The organization specializes in mentoring, leadership, education, business etiquette, scholarships and providing pertinent information about exciting career options behind the camera.
