The first honorees announced for the 2017 lineup include Tim Minear’s FX horror drama, American Horror Story: Roanoke plus two freshman series that have both touched and thrilled audiences as well as earning multiple Golden Globe nominations, HBO’s Westworld, the sci-fi thriller set in a technologically advanced, Western-themed amusement park, and NBC’s This Is Us, which tells the story of the Pearson family in both the present day and through flashbacks.
