The pieces are starting to come together and we are starting to see how the future unfolds, even if that means things are starting to fall apart already.

*** Spoilers Below ***

It’s a strange cliffhanger when Damon and Stefan are both killed at the end, but we know that they are alive in three years times. It’s like a false cliffhanger. We don’t have to freak out for the fate of these characters.

VD709b_0033b2We can feel bad for them. Damon doesn’t deserve being tortured for all the bad he’s done. I mean, we’ve enjoyed a lot of the bad he’s done. Stefan definitely doesn’t deserve it because he punishes himself enough for the bad periods in his life.

I’m sure Stefan will be beating himself up for not letting the Julian thing go and getting Damon killed. Not that Stefan doesn’t have enough to beat himself up about.

This is actually an interesting twist. Please don’t hate me for being okay with our boys being tortured. It can be great character development.

And I’m completely fine with any twists that lead to great character development.

Whatever happens to Damon in that stone makes him want to sleep till Elena wakes up. Not something Elena will approve of.

I really love watching Caroline be pregnant. If the Gemini coven know Caroline, then they probably would have chosen her and not just used her as a last resort. Anything she does, she wants to do it well.

All rights reserved. She’s reading every single book, but there’s only one problem. There are no books about pregnant vampires. She should really be writing all of this down just in case it ever happens again.

Caroline is eating for three and she’s hungry all the time and she’s even having cravings: blood and marshmallows.

If only very bizarre cravings was the only thing she was going through. She can’t seem to control her temper. Her hormones must be going crazy. Vampires emotions are heightened and so are pregnant women’s emotions, so that must mean her emotions are extremely high. I would not wish this on anyone, but it is a lot of fun to watch. I can’t wait to explore this storyline more.

I really enjoyed Bonnie and Nora bonding, but Stefan messed that up. Just because one of them has a devious plan, doesn’t mean they are all in on it. They can’t be held accountable for what someone else in the group is doing because someone is always doing something bad.

This week our flashback showed that Valarie and Stefan are in a relationship. I’ve been upset about most of these future relationships and I’m especially mad at this one. I’ve been waiting seasons for Stefan and Caroline to get together and they finally are, but only for a limited time.

I now even know the girl who comes between them. Elizabeth Blackmore was never given a chance. She was set up for us all to hate her. And seeing her and Stefan together just made me hate her even more.

Whatever happens between Caroline and Stefan, can they fix it in the future? I realize they have bigger problems than whatever split them up, but I want them to be the end game.

Between Stefan’s baby that never was and Caroline carrying Alaric’s babies, these two haven’t really found their rhythm. It’s been such a let down.

It may seem crazy, but there is something so good about something horrible happening with the sound of Christmas music in the background. The Vampire Diaries did it in season four when Mrs. Lockwood was killed, Arrow did it this week and so did The Originals. It’s becoming a common theme, but that doesn’t make it any less great.

Remember to mark you calendars, TVD is moving to Fridays when the show returns on January 29th.
