It’s not often we get to see Klaus off his game and vulnerable, but it’s great. Cami and Klaus’s relationship was taken to a whole another level this week.

*** Spoilers Below ***

There was a lot going on this week, but one of the best things in this episode was watching Klaus save Cami. He was very, very worried and we’ve hardly ever seen him like that. It’s usually only when he’s worried about his siblings that he ever look that worried. We all know Klaus cares for Cami, but now we can be sure that he loves her.

Cami was tough throughout. She’s dealing with vampires, but that doesn’t stop her from fighting her way out. She had transitioning vampires attacking her and she still fought back. It was great.

She couldn’t get out of it all by herself though. Klaus had to come and save the day. Still, I have to give her major props for how brave she was.

I’m really loving the strong women on this show at the moment. They are definitely holding their own.

We’ve known that Cami is afraid of the dark parts of her, but we didn’t know how far that darkness went. We’ve never seen her react like that in the show yet. She believes there’s good in everyone or maybe that’s just her trying to get herself to believe.

We all liked the fantasy of Caroline and Klaus, but I think Klaus and Cami are made for each other.

Hayley was able to work some of her frustration out on Tristan. Mary wasn’t too happy that Hayley was fighting the Mikaelson’s battles for them. Why don’t these people understand that this is for Rebekah and Rebekah has always been nice to Hayley and she’s protected Hope. This is all for Rebekah. If it was for Klaus, then I’d understand, but it’s for Rebekah. Rebekah is family.

Hayley may be married to Jackson, but the feelings are still there for Elijah. She said she stuck around because she knew he needed her. There was this moment between them before Elijah spoke and sent her back to her family. She came back when Elijah needed her though.

Marcel has a great story line this season. He’s got himself into the Strix and staying there is proving to be hard, but he’s playing double agent status very, very well.

He made it look like he betrayed Elijah, but it was really smoke and mirrors. He put Elijah down for a little nap. It all looked like Marcel was on the Strix’s side. Hayley and Freya were in big trouble, but Marcel saved them both. Then he got some information to help find Rebekah. So losing Tristan wasn’t all bad.

Marcel did learn from the best. He’s learned how to pull of great plans against all the odds. He’ll have to continue to be on top of his game to survive.

Do you think Marcel has what it takes to deceive thousand year old vampires? Were you enjoying seeing Klaus’s vulnerable side? Let me know in the comments below.
