Tricia Helfer appeared at Etheria Film Night to help present Jane Espenson with the Inspiration Award. She was also kind enough to grant Whedonopolis an interview.

Whedonopolis: It’s wonderful to see you here at Etheria Film Night! Are you excited to be here?

Tricia Helfer: I am excited to be here to present Jane Espenson with the Inspiration Award, which she really deserves. She’s simply the best!

Whedonopolis: I know that you also just worked with other former Whedonites on Con Man; can you say anything about that?

Tricia Helfer: I don’t know what I can say and can’t say! I haven’t asked what I’m allowed to say, aside from that I had SO much fun and I think it’s hysterical, and I think they’re going to do very well.

Whedonopolis: As one of the Kickstarter reporters, I was just thrilled to hear that you were part of it.

Tricia Helfer: Yeah. *smiles* My character is really funny. I’ve only had one day so far, but [the set] was very well organized and run; a very fun set.

Whedonopolis: Thank you so much for your time and the little bit on Con Man. I can’t wait to hear your intro for Jane’s award!
