More news and interviews from our San Diego Comic Con trip! The cast and producers from the new comic book based series, Constantine, talk about the upcoming series on NBC.

We were able to chat with Constantine stars Matt Ryan, Harold Perrineau, Charles Halford and Angelica Celaya plus executive producers Daniel Cerone and David S. Goyer at the Warner Bros. TV round tables at SDCC. They had plenty to say about the edgy new series that will be premiering on NBC in the Fall.

Matt Ryan — star of the new NBC series, Constantine — talks about bringing a dark and edgy comic book character to the screen; what makes Constantine tick; and training for stunts.

 

Harold Perrineau talked to us about his character, Manny, who is not your typical sweet angel.

 

Charles Halford talks about the upcoming premiere season of Constantine and his role as “John Constantine’s” right hand man.

 

We caught up with the lovely Angelica Celaya and she talked about the introduction of her character — an empath named “Zed” ; getting in on the action scenes and working with special effects.

 

Exec. Producers, Daniel Cerone and David S. Goyer, talk about adapting the iconic character of “John Constantine” for television, where the Constantine story starts on the show, and the challenge of bringing the darkness, edge and moral ambiguity to the story.
