This June, James Marsters will star in a new adaption of Arthur Conan Doyle’s “The Hound of the Baskervilles” at the UCLA Bridges Theatre from June 12th – 15th.  He does not play the legendary detective but rather the cursed heir of the Baskerville fortune.  See below for more details.

Hound of the Baskervilles

Adapted by David Pinchette and R. Hamilton Wright featuring James Marsters, Seamus Dever, Geoffrey Arend, Chris Neame and Sarah Drew. Directed by Michael Hackett

This fresh take on Sherlock Holmes’ most baffling case adds a flair of contemporary wit to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic whodunit. The sole surviving Baskerville (James Marsters, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) returns from Canada to fight the ancient curse of a supernatural hound, adjust to the strange class system, and fall in love with his beautiful neighbor. It’s a faithful and clever adaptation of a bewildering mystery from the pages of the world’s greatest sleuth and his steadfast cohort, Dr. John Watson.

The play runs June 12th – 15th. Tickets are $60 premium, $50 general and $40 wheel-chair seats.
