Nothing like a partial skull emerging from a swamp to make people want to buy a house. Our victim is found by some potential homeowners who were interested in a property that had a creepy “pond” behind it. They were right, I’d say a pond with a dead body in it is, indeed, creepy. The corpse is a white female in her thirties, and from the looks of it, this is no normal rotting body. The body suggests three different times of death.

In the lab, the same problem comes up….there are conflicting signs. Luckily, from evidence that showed the vic had previously undergone surgery, they were able to identify her. Her name is Madeline Papadelis, a divorced woman without many loved ones. She did have a daughter who passed away, as well…it is kind of sad. Although time of death has not been found, from other leads Booth gets his first suspect. As usual, it is the ex-husband, which is always a good place to start. It is usually the person closest to you or the person that once was. They bring in her ex, and all we find out, initially, is that they fought over their sick daughter and her treatment.

After a lot of work by Hodgins and Cam, we find out the victim was frozen…..like cryogenics. Not only that, but she was last seen alive four months ago. She vanished without a trace and nobody went looking for her. Off to a cryogenic center near her last appearance. I can say the doctors at this facility are less than happy to see the FBI. They tell Booth that the victim’s daughter is frozen there, but of course they also claim they have not seen Madeline in months. The doctors direct Booth and Brennan to see a doctor who is freezing patients illegally and, basically, is a supposed nut job.

After talking to the nut job, it could go either way. He is inventive, and obsessive. Yet, it would be pretty obvious if it were him. Some security cameras reveal something horrible, truly evil. The doctors at the first cryogenic center were seen sawing open bodies to the organs. When they confront him, his story is somewhat believable to Brennan. I am confused this time, all three suspects are very probable.  Then audio is found, and they actually have to consider the wife of the cryogenic doctor. He was sleeping with Madeline. But, alas, we find it was not a scorned wife, or an angry ex; it WAS the person closest to her. It was the doctor, who froze her dead daughter months before. He was in love with her, but he didn’t mean that much to her.

Camille and her boyfriend Dr. Vaziri end up going out to dinner with his parents so that they could finally meet her. It didn’t go well. It did not even make it to the actual dinner part.  Some may say he overreacted, but his parents aren’t the most accepting.  He and his parents have a heart to heart and we realize that Dr. Vaziri was, indeed, overreacting. His parents like Camille and are just being good parents. It is a parents job to make sure your children are headed in the right direction. Is there marriage in the near future for these two?

The case is solved and we are still left wondering what is going on with Booth. Is he going to be offered a promotion? Will it be in Germany? Brennan is supportive regardless, but Booth is afraid that they want him to take up his sniper rifle again. I guess we just have to wait and find out. Next week looks creepy and a little supernatural, so tune in!
