At the Pasadena International Film Festival, Whedonopolis was given the opportunity for a very quick interview with the lovely David Fury after he presented awards to James Marsters and Clare Kramer.

Whedonopolis: How did you get involved with the Pasadena International Film Festival?

David Fury: I got a call from my agent, saying that they wanted to present James Marsters with an award and asked if I’d be willing to present it. I said “Of course.” It’s James Marsters. I’ll give him anything I’ve got.

Whedonopolis: Would you love to work with him again?

David Fury: No. As much as I love him, I never want to — Of course! I would love to work with James. Actually, there was a great role for him in 24. Unfortunately, we didn’t think of him in time and Kiefer [Sutherland] got a friend of his in there instead, but I do want to work with James again, and I hope he does too.

Whedonopolis: And how about Clare Kramer?

David Fury: Clare, I… Yes. It’s hard to say; Clare and I had one year together and I never got to direct her, but all I heard from anyone, especially James, was, “She’s so nice.” I like working with nice people. It makes the work fun.

Whedonopolis: Well, you gave an excellent speech for both of them, and thank you for your time.

David Fury: You are very welcome. Tonight has been great!
