Previous screenings have raised thousands of dollars for charities such as Best Friends Animal Rescue, The Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation, PATH Ventures (People Assisting the Homeless), the Elizabeth Glazer pediatric AIDS Foundation and Kids Need To Read (Co-founded by Whedon alumnus, Nathan Fillian, Castle).

THIS JUST IN!
We have just received a donation of 2 GOLD TICKETS to Creation Entertainment’s Salute to Supernatural in Burbank, CA. This very generous donation is a $1,300 value!

But, if you’ve ever been to one of Creation’s Supernatural conventions, you know, it’s worth WAY MORE than that! Ah, Jared and Jensen.

Outside the theatre in the park, we’ll have a vendor area where you can purchase fun geeky items that everyone needs! (Go on! You know you want it.) Our vendors include: Domestic Goddess Jewelry, Fanboy Comics, Geekdom Wear, the Button Lady and more!

This year’s event will benefit Journey House, a non-profit organization that assists former foster children with all aspects of adult life, including, but not limited to, continuing education, obtaining housing and job placement.

We will have a full day of fun starting at 1pm with a screening of Serenity, which will benefit Equality Now, followed by our premier screening of Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard’s new horror classic, The Cabin in the Woods.

We’ll end the evening with season 3 of Jane Espenson and Brad Bell’s new hit, Husbands, followed by the 6th & final season of Felicia Day’s web phenomenon, The Guild and ending the night in classic form with the Doctor himself! Dr. Horrible that is!
