Amy has been cast as the Black Widow, a housewife who every five years has to suck the life force out of three males within three days to keep alive.

Grimm is a police procedural, with the twist that the bad (and not so bad) guys are from the fairy tales of old. Think Law & Order with Buffy/Angel mixed in (Lenny would have fit right in – in fact Naren Shankar of “CSI" and Norbeto Barba of “Law & Order: CI have joined as executive producers). This gives the writers a deep well of material they can go to. David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf (creators) told Whedonopolis that Grimm won’t stick to just Eupropean fairy tales, they plan to use fairy tales from around the world.

Tonight’s episode, "LonelyHearts" (spoilers)

Patrick Fishler (“Lost”) plays the Ziegevolk (aka "Bluebeard"). The Zeigevolk has goat-like features, often taking form of a satyr.  With a single touch, he renders all under his charming spell, particularly those of the opposite sex.  He uses this to his advantage during mating season by releasing powerful pheromones through his skin.  Known to eat small, rare toads to enhance these powers; the Zeigevolks are most dangerous when on the prowl to gather a herd.

After investigating a strange cluster of female deaths and disappearances, Nick sends Monroe undercover to get a whiff of the hypnotic suspect.  In the meantime, a stranger shows up looking to avenge the death of his friend at the hands of a Grimm, but he’ll have to get past Captain Renard.
