As Comic-Con slowly faded away Sunday night and people were seeing a Joker or Sailor Moon walking down the street, some attendees decided to visit the 10th Street Theater to see Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog in a new way: as a stage musical.
As usual, Comic-Con ended with the annual showing of the classic Buffy musical episode, "Once More With Feeling." It was a little different this year.

If you’re a fan of Joss Whedon, you’ve likely heard of Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. You might even have heard of it if you’re not. For the last couple years, high schools, colleges, and small theater companies have been producing live versions of the acclaimed internet musical. Recently the rights were taken away by the creators due to some mysterious “plans of our own,” but not before Chinese Pirate Productions secured the rights for one last production. From now until July 30th you can see what may be the last fan-driven live production of Dr. Horrible. Luckily there are thousands of geeks in town for Comic-Con, so you’ll be able to see it with plenty of like-minded fans.
