Brian’s Blog – Comic-Con 2009: Wednesday

Wednesday is the day when the least amount of “stuff”
happens at Comic-Con. There are no panels to speak of, and being called “Preview
Night,” one would think that this, of all nights, would be the least crowded

Whedonopolis is Arriving at Comic-Con 2009

We’ve begun to trickle into San Diego for our coverage of Comic-Con.  We drove about three hours with stops on the way down from Los Angeles to get food and supplies, and thankfully seemed to have missed much of the traffic. The rest of the team is still on their way, but once we all arrive our coverage will begin in earnest. We have a lot of coverage planned, from panels to media events to interviews and much more, so keep it tuned here or onto our Twitter feed (http://www.twitter.com/whedonopolis) for all the latest blogs, interviews and event coverage live from every corner of the Con.

"Once More With Feeling" at Comic-Con with Whedonopolis & The WB

Get out your dry cleaning and get ready for dancing crazy!

Once again, Fandom Charities, Inc. and Whedonopolis.com will be presenting an interactive screening of Joss Whedon’s musical Buffy episode, "Once More, With Feeling", as the closing event at Comic-Con in July.  This event marks the 3rd year Whedonopolis has hosted this screening, in conjunction with the good people at Comic-Con International. We look forward to this being the best event yet!

We are pleased to announce that Warner Brothers (specifically, thewb.com) has agreed to sponsor this event, like they did at WonderCon earlier this year.  You can look forward to some cool give-a-ways and fun surprises.

Stay tuned for more announcements about this event and others at Comic-Con 2009!
