Juliet Landau Faces Fans on Facebook

For the second time in two weeks Juliet Landau took questions from fans on the internet. After getting several questions through Twitter,  she took questions last Thursday on Facebook, mainly about her new documentary, Take Flight, which looks at how actor Gary Oldman made a music video of a Jewish hip-hop group, and only used cell phones to film it. It will be streaming to the public on February 25th.

Paley Center: How I Met Your Mother 100th episode celebration

The Paley Center recently celebrated the 100th episode of “How I Met You Mother” with stars, Alyson Hannigan (Lily), Neil Patrick Harris (Barney), Josh Radnor (Ted), Jason Segel (Marshall) and Cobie Smulders (Robin) as well as executive producers/co-creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas and executive producer Pamela Fryman sharing tidbits about how the cast came together, crazy antics behind the scenes as well as the show’s future.

LAX Stargate/Farscape Convention 2009

On November 6 – 8th the LAX Marriott played host to Creation’s Stargate and Farscape conventions. Unlike most Creation cons I’ve been to, this was actually two separate conventions taking place at the same time. With all of the Stargate programming in one ballroom and all of the Farscape programming in the ballroom across the hall. The dealer’s area was shared between the two cons, which meant that it had a bit larger selection of vendors then I’ve seen recently. Fans who bought the Gold level tickets for one con could sit in the general admission section of the other.

Creation Entertainment Salutes Firefly/Serenity: Alan Tudyk Q&A

Alan Tudyk’s is the final Q&A of the convention, the fans watch curiously as two chairs are brought to the stage. Of course, everyone is hoping Nathan will make a surprise appearance like he has done in the past. Alan comes onto the stage and starts setting down a few times. He then takes a bowl out of a bag and sets it on one of the chairs. Alan greets the fans and explains that Nathan sent his famous “Bean Dip” in his place and that it will be auctioned off at the end of the Q&A. He has also brought a box full of souvenir items to give away to those who can answer his trivia questions. Alan joked “thanks for showing me your cameras” as many in the crowd stuck their cameras up to catch a picture of him.
