** NOTICE OF RETURN TO OFFICE FOR ALL LUMON EMPLOYEES ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 17, 2025 **
Welcome back, refiners.
The highly anticipated return of the brilliant Apple TV+ series, Severance, has a return date and a first look trailer! Season 2 of the workplace thriller premieres on January 17, 2025 with new episodes premiering every Friday until March 21st.
The 10-episode season reunites its ensemble cast including Adam Scott, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, Patricia Arquette, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Zach Cherry, Jen Tullock, Michael Chernus, and Dichen Lachman, and welcomes new series regular Sarah Bock.
Season 1 of Severance introduced us to Mark Scout (Adam Scott) who leads a team at Lumon Industries. Lumon employees have elected to undergo a severance procedure, which surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives. This daring experiment in “work-life balance” is called into question as Mark finds himself at the center of an unraveling mystery that will force him to confront the true nature of his work… and of himself.
In season two, Mark and his friends learn the dire consequences of trifling with the severance barrier, leading them further down a path of woe. Check out the official teaser below.
Severance is executive produced by Ben Stiller, who also directs five episodes this season. The series is written, created and executive produced by Dan Erickson.
Check out Severance season 2 on Apple TV+ starting January 17, 2025 with new episodes available every Friday.
