The Arrow press room was like no other at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Season five ended with the majority of characters being blown up on the island, with no indication of who is dead or alive. According to Willa Holland, the cast were all there just to mess with us and we can’t assume because they are at Comic-con, that their characters are alive.
Some of the actors tried to give us something or at least tell us where they would like their characters to go from here but not every actor was so willing.
Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity Smoak) and Echo Kellum (Curtis Holt) decided to just have some fun since they weren’t allowed to say a thing about the season. They didn’t give much information on the new season but you can see why their chemistry is so great on the screen.
“We’re pulling a Walking Dead right now, where they did the same thing one season where everyone was up in the air and it was clear that it was going to be somebody but we can’t have anyone have any indication of who it is,” said Holland (Thea Queen).
Executive producer Wendy Mericle confirmed that someone will die on the island and there will be consequences from what happens.
Mericle said the season is about family and Katie Cassidy (Black Siren) said the same thing.
Rick Gonzalez (Rene Ramire) touches on the family theme and also gives a little insight to where his character is going. Can we safely say his character survives the explosion?
With season five, the flashbacks came to an end and now Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen) wants to do more with his character. One thing we will get to see this season his Oliver being a father.
