It’s been a year since Castle sadly left our screens, but fans of Stana Katic have reason to rejoice in her new lead role in Absentia.  Production has begun on the crime thriller, which is currently set to be 10 episodes.

Katic is cast as an FBI agent, who disappears for six years after chasing down a notorious serial killer and has no memory of the missing years.  Her husband is played by Patrick Heusinger.  Other cast includes: Angel Bonnani, Neil Jackson, Cara Theobold, Bruno Bichir, and Ralph Ineson.
