At around the stroke of midnight, the BBC officially released this one sheet for the hotly anticipated 50th anniversary special of Doctor Who.  Mark your calendars now on November 23rd, 2013 for “The Day of the Doctor“!

According to the BBC America press release, the special episode will be extended to 75 minutes and will star Matt Smith, David Tennant, and Jenna Coleman, along with appearances by Billie Piper (who played the unforgettable first companion of the 21st century revival of the series, Rose Tyler ) and John Hurt of Alien fame.

Giddy with excitement, Matt Smith has declared: “’The Day of the Doctor’ is nearly here! Hope you all enjoy. There’s lots more coming your way, as the countdown to the 50th begins now.”

BBC AMERICA will reportedly announce more 50th Anniversary plans in the next few weeks.  Until then, dive into this poster and see if you can unearth any clues to its story, you clever boy (…or girl).
