Deadline has announced Alan Tudyk, who appears on the show as Dr. Noah Lerner, dentist and BFF to George Altman, will leave the shhow. It’s possible he could return as a guest star. Rex Lee, who plays the high school guidance counselor, has also been cut from the show
Meanwhile, Tudyk can be seen in the Netflix revival of Arrested Development. He’s the Reverend Veal, father of George Michael’s ex-girlfriend Ann Veal. The Netflix page for Arrested Development can be found here.
The show has had to cut back because of a lower licensing fee. It was a hit in its first season in 2011, but ratings dipped in its second season. It is expected to come back sometime in 2014
