We got to spend a little time in Paradise at SDCC this year.

Thousands of fans gathered in the Hilton’s Indigo Ballroom to find out what is coming up in the sophomore season Hulu’s hit dystopian drama series. Executive producer, Dan Fogelman, and star Sterling K. Brown opened the panel discussion with how the first season developed and the key characters involved. Check out the highlights below.

Brown and Fogelman were excited to share with the crowd, a clip from the opening episode of season 2. The extended clip introduces a new character, played by Shailene Woodley, who turned out to be a surprise guest for the panel and joined them onstage. Season 2 of Paradise premieres on Hulu in early 2026 and will also air on ABC.
