Nothing can keep the Mikaelsons apart forever. Something always brings them back together. That’s what Kol reminded of us last week, and maybe he shouldn’t have.

Spoilers Below

I had this feeling that the person that took Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) was her own daughter, and I was right. He wanted to get her father back so badly, that she kidnapped her own mother. What would you do to get your father to come back?

I was wondering why Klaus (Joseph Morgan) just vanished from Hope’s (Danielle Rose Russell) life. Clearly, the rest of them have been staying in touch by phone. Now it all makes sense. Hope did a spell to see Klaus and walked into the middle of his killing spree. No wonder he went silent. He never wanted his daughter to see that side of him. He thought he was protecting her, but maybe a good old fashion talk would have fixed everything, but it sure did give us a great Mikaelson reunion.

Freya (Riley Voelkel) may say it’s all normal, that she went through it too, but this mistake has bigger consequences. Hayley has really been kidnapped now, Henry is actually dead, and New Orleans may be in bigger danger. Unless it was a vampire or werewolf that took her. Even so, the longer Klaus stays in town, the worse it can get.

A vampire or werewolf, Hayley can take, but if Freya can just sense her fear, that has to mean something bad. It would take something bad for Freya to let Keelin (Christina Marie Moses) go. I don’t think this is the end of Freya and Keelin, just like I don’t believe we’ve seen the last of Rebekah and Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) but these couples have one more hoop to jump through before they can be the end game.

Marcel has gone back to his home, and he’s found a very different New Orleans. It’s been pretty peaceful until a Mikaelson had to mess it up. He has his same rules, but he doesn’t know the vampires anymore. While I love Josh (Steven Krueger), I’m not sure he can manage vampires when things get complicated. He’s been way too used to the peaceful years. It is good to have someone around that can always see the good in people, though.

Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) is trying to get answers, and he’s not liking the answers he’s getting. Usually, he’s the first to condemn the Mikaelsons, but he doesn’t believe that Hope will be the end of them. I’m not sure what I believe yet. Her mistakes could be the end of them, but I don’t believe she’s evil. Hayley raised her, and then Alaric and Caroline took over at their school. There’s no way she’s evil.

Hope’s classmate, Roman (Jedidiah Goodacre), I’m not sure about him. Why did he really go to New Orleans? Is a sweet, understanding boy that wasn’t freaked out when Hope told him she’s Hope Mikaelson? I don’t trust him and wish I knew what his true intentions were.
