Last week I thought Alice cleaning up a dead body was the craziest thing I’ve ever seen but I actually liked what came after.

SPOILERS BELOW

Bughead was finally reunited last week and then Betty (Lili Reinhart) had a lot of family drama to deal with. Jughead (Cole Sprouse) knew something was up and I was happy that Betty went to him for help. Not that I wanted Jug to get dragged into it too but Betty had no one to talk to and she was going crazy. Alice (Mädchen Amick) was acting like nothing had ever happened. She had to talk to someone. It turns out going to Jug was the best thing because they enlisted help from FP (Skeet Ulrich) and any loose ends they had missed, FP probably fixed it. Alice can’t bad mouth Jug or FP anymore when they helped them out of a very serious jam, which will come as a relief for me and Betty.

I saw the Veronica (Camila Mendes) we all know and love tonight. Not that I want her to be good at her parent’s business but I think she’s definitely better at it than her parents and there’s less collateral damage that way. While it’s sad that Mayor McCoy (Robin Givens) had to step down it could have been much worse. The Lodge’s could have exposed her affair and that would have not only hurt her but the sheriff and Keven (Casey Cott). Her way was better.

I definitely had my reservations about the FBI agent but I thought maybe he could be an enemy of Hiram (Mark Consuelos) and it wasn’t until this episode that I even thought it could be the Lodge’s testing Archie (K.J. Apa). We are getting to see more and more of what the Lodge’s are made of. Their corruption goes deep. And whatever they are up to goes deep. Archie’s loyalty has gotten him very deep into this. One thing is for sure, Hermione (Marisol Nichols) is the worst of the Lodge’s. On the one hand, I’m happy that the most corrupt Lodge is a woman because I do like a good female villain. On the other hand, I’m worried about Veronica and Archie.
