After an epic panel featuring the band Kansas performing the unofficial Winchester brothers rock anthem “Carry On My Wayward Son,” the stars and producers of The CW’s  longest running show, Supernatural, were in fine form in the show’s press room at San Diego Comic Con.  Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins plus executive producers Robert Singer and Andrew Dabb were on hand to talk about the upcoming 13th season of the fan favorite series.  Check out our interviews with the SPN Family and enjoy the added bonus video of Kansas in Hall H.

Jensen Ackles talks about Dean’s response to Lucifer’s offspring, Mary’s disappearance into the apocalypse world, and being invited to perform with Kansas in Hall H.

Jared Padalecki talks about Sam’s struggle with his own destiny and his perspective on it from an older, wiser vantage, and how raising Lucifer’s son, Jack, will affect Sam in the long run.  Will Jack reawaken some of Sam’s dormant darker powers from the past?

Misha Collins talks about Castiel’s surprising death at the end of season 12 and what he is doing with his free time now — at least while Castiel remains dead.  He also talks about the upcoming “last” GISHWHES Scavenger Hunt and the possibility of Castiel crossing over into the Supernatural spin-off show, Wayward Sisters.

Executive Producer, Robert Singer, discusses the introduction of the new parallel “post-apocalyptic” universe at the end of season 12 and the opportunities and challenges it presents.  He also discusses Sam and Dean raising Lucifer’s son, Jack, and bringing back some familiar faces in the parallel world.

Executive Producer, Andrew Dabb, is the man with all the answers — he just won’t share them.  He talks about how season 12 was a season of abundance with the earth restored and the Winchesters getting Mary back, but how the tide is turning with the losses of Crowley, Rowena, Mary and Castiel — at least for now.

And here is the added bonus of Kansas performing in Hall H.  The view from the back section of the hall shows off the extended screens on the side which featured continuous scenes and images from the last 12 seasons.  The ultimate 180 degree Supernatural experience!

Supernatural’s season 13 begins Thursday, October 12th.
