With only four episodes left, The Vampire Diaries is getting crazy, while still trying to wrap things up. Could Kai returning be the answer to bringing Elena back? That’s what the latest promo suggests. Kai will help them kill the devil if they keep him out of hell. That clearly isn’t enough for Alaric or Damon to get on board, but as soon as he adds bringing back Elena to the deal, game on.

The question is, will Elena be returning before the series finale? We know she’s coming back for the series finale, but Kai looks like he’s bringing her back very soon. But, when does anything go according to plan?

There’s a lot more happening in this promo. It looks like Stefan gets shot. Didn’t he just get stabbed? He’s not doing too well as a human so far and he’s going to have me terrified until the very end. Bonnie also looks like she’s doing magic. She’s one determined woman. Can she really find a way to save Enzo?
