The CW is definitely the right home for Supergirl. The superhero show is better than ever, finally on the right network.

In season one, Supergirl had a lot of heart, but if it’s possible, the show’s heart just got bigger.

Supergirl’s life is complete. She knows how to be a superhero and she has her cousin by her side now. Kara (Melissa Benoist), on the other hand, hasn’t got a clue about life.

Cat gave her this huge opportunity of choosing her own job title and she had no idea what she wanted to do. It took working with Clark and following her heart to finally figure it out.

I’m really going to miss having Cat on the show. I know we will get her sometimes, but this episode reminded me how much I love her.

She lifted Kara up to find a purpose and she knew all along what that purpose was.

That’s not all. I love the motivational monologues she gives.  We all do need to take the plunge sometimes. It’s scary, but it’s the only way to live life.

I wonder what taking the plunge will mean for Cat? She’s accomplished everything she ever wanted, except for maybe one thing, love. Maybe that’s the next big adventure for Cat.

I’m upset, but not surprised that Kara and James (Mehcad Brooksare not continuing their relationship. I was almost surprised last year that the writers put them together so soon. I still believe they belong together, but I think Kara needs to do more soul searching before she can really be with him.

She just figured out what her calling was for Kara and it took her an entire season to find herself as Supergirl, she just needs more time.

It was heartbreaking watching James when she said she just wanted to be friends. He really loves her. Don’t lose hope just yet, James, she just needs some time.

We have to talk about Tyler Hoechlin‘s entrance as Superman and Clark Kent. I want to start with Clark because he was just so cute. He’s so old school, smart and as Kara pointed out, has it all. And the best part was when Cat was fawning all over him. Can we blame her? He’s definitely rocking the glasses look. I also loved that he was naturally a clutz.

He was being fawned over as Superman too, but that’s expected. It was a little weird when Alex was saying how great he smelled. That’s your sister’s cousin, even if you aren’t actually blood-related.

It’s going to be interesting to see Hank and Superman try to work together. They don’t like each other at all. I think Hank is holding more of a grudge. Superman seems to be pretty civil but has a point, what happens when Hank isn’t in charge? What’s stopping the DEO from coming after him and Kara?

The DEO is even better now that Winn is on board. He’s so much better suited for the DEO than CatCo. He can be utilized better and I think we’re going to have a lot of fun watching him.

Right from the get go, Alex is having some great hand-to-hand fighting scenes. I hope this is what we can look forward to for the rest of the season. She may not have the powers that her sister has, but she’s just as tough.

Not only do we get Hoechlin this season, we get Chris Wood too! We know very little about his character and he didn’t even speak in this episode, but it’s still one of the things I’m most excited for this season.

Do you think Kara just needs to find her way before she can be with James? What do you think of Tyler’s version of Superman and Clark so far? Let me know in the comments below.
