With all of their very busy lives, veteran Teen Wolf stars are being active to support one of their own, while raising awareness for cystic fibrosis in true Teen Wolf style.  According to MTV News, the #Howl4ACure campaign, which is currently active across social media with a bunch of Beacon Hills’ finest supporting it, is encouraging everyone to share their best howl along with the aforementioned hashtag to help spread awareness about cystic fibrosis and support the work being done by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The Teen Wolf cast — including Holland Roden, Charlie Carver, Max Carver, Ryan Kelley, Ian Bohen, and JR Bourne — will celebrate the campaign on September 7th with a free interactive live stream including games, special guests, and even a few surprises.

The broadcast will be available in the U.S. on the mobile app Bidchat and worldwide on the web platform. Viewers can also bid for windows of time to interact with the cast live in split-screen — and proceeds from the winning bids and direct donations in the app will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

JR Bourne’s niece, Madison, was born with the genetic disease 17 years ago, and the actor has long been a champion of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.  He told MTV News “When I started doing conventions for the show, I realized it was an amazing platform for discussing the disease and raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.  The fans went above and beyond to show their love and support.”

“We hope people learn something about the disease and how organizations like the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation really are essential to advancements in medical science,” Charlie explained. “And when you show love towards one community and lend your support, you’re really sending out a much larger message to the world. So, I also hope that this #Howl4ACure campaign inspires others to take action on the causes they care about.”
