With the season of giving nearing, this is the perfect time to talk about some available fundraising opportunities! There are many celebrities doing some fundraising, as well as Whedonopolis’ own recent charity event.

size_550x415_kntr_logo-banner_127px_razooWe recently wrapped up the 2015 Whedonopolis Halloween Event featuring Dr. Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog with a special appearance by Joss Whedon in Hollywood, CA! The screening was completely sold out; so many thanks to Joss Whedon for showing up and entertaining fans! It was a blast! The event also included an online drawing.  The winners of the drawing were Carla White, Lynda Foley, and Michele Morris – they each received a pair of Copper Weekend Passes to Creation Entertainment’s Supernatural Official Convention donated by Creation Entertainment. Both the event and drawing benefited Kids Need To Read and raised over $3,500! Kids Need To Read is a national nonprofit foundation that promotes childhood literacy and addresses the crisis in library funding that currently exists in the United States, please continue to support them in any way you can!

For those who missed it, here’s a link with some video coverage.
