When ABC announced it would going to show the first trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron during next week’s Agents of SHIELD, it was inevitable someone would try to get a peak of what will come next May. A low-definition version of the UK trailer made the rounds online Wednesday before Marvel shut it down, and blamed HYDRA on Twitter.
So, Marvel has officially released the teaser trailer for everyone, while HYDRA wondered what it really had done. It’s in standard definition, and worth a look:
Never mind HYDRA. Ultron could be the biggest menace the Avengers will ever face. The group is also facing Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver as well, while Bruce Banner battles the Hulkbuster. James Spader, though, will get all the notices as Ultron, especially how he makes “I’ve Got No Strings” from Pinocchio sound like a nightmare.
This will be the perfect climax to Phase 2 of the Marvel Cinema Universe, and will premiere in the USA on May 1st 2015.
The early release might not affect ABC’s broadcast premiere of the Age of Ultron trailer next Tuesday. At least, people will get a bigger experience on their 42-inch screens, and then on much bigger screens when the trailer is expected to be shown before Interstellar in a couple of weeks.
