One of SyFy’s most popular shows will have a big presence at Comic-Con, including two panels, a special display, and an offer for a special comic book that’s a bridge between seasons three and four.
When season three of Haven ended last January, Audrey ran into the mysterious barn to end the Troubles that plagued the town. This time, Duke went in with her. Does that mean they’ll re-emerge 29 years later?
Fans of the show will learn that and more this week at Comic-Con. Through all five days, people can visit the Haven Historical Society display at Booth 4021. They’ll see actual props and costumes like Audrey’s police badge, Duke’s gold doubloon, Jordan’s gloves, Tristram Carver’s puzzle board, the Haven PD’s Colorado Kid case file and a selection of vintage Haven Heralds.
On Thursday, the show and Entertainment One will host the Opening Night Party at Sidebar San Diego. It will include special drinks from co-sponsor Wild Turkey. While this is an invitation-only event, a limited number of fan tickets are available for purchase as part of the Haven Party Pack, available exclusively at Booth 4021 on a first-come, first-served basis.
The cast will have a busy Friday. It starts with a panel at 3 PM at Room 6DE. It will include lots of footage from the season four premiere, which reportedly takes place six months later. Panelists include stars Emily Rose, Lucas Bryant, Eric Balfour and Adam Copeland (WWE Superstar Edge), along with Co-Creator Sam Ernst and Executive Producers Shawn Piller, Matt McGuinness and Gabrielle Stanton. The moderator will be Colin Ferguson, who will also join the cast this fall.
Afterwards, everyone is invited to participate in the #DiscoverHaven Scavenger Hunt, in which fans will be challenged to find exclusive, take-home Haven Artifacts in and around the convention center and Gaslamp District. The first fifty fans to complete the Scavenger Hunt will get a special up-close and personal experience with the cast at the final destination.
Finally, at 6:30pm, cast members Emily Rose, Lucas Bryant, Eric Balfour, Adam Copeland and Colin Ferguson will be at a Nerd HQ panel at Petco Park. It’s already sold out, but will be video streaming at the Nerd Machine YouTube page.
By the way, people who buy the Haven Season 3 DVD set (including Blu-ray) will get a special comic book called, “Haven: After the Storm”, which reveals what happened after the Barn imploded. Season four will begin on Syfy on September 13th.
