Sarah Michelle Gellar is still hoping to get back to TV, but she may have found a new road….through Robin Williams.
A month ago, there was a report that Gellar is making a sitcom pilot about what parents do when their kids aren’t around. That proposal didn’t pan out, according to Deadline.
Now Deadline reports that she’ll be part of a father-daughter advertising firm in the pilot, Crazy Ones. She’ll play Sydney, the creative director to her dad’s ad firm. Robin Williams will pay her dad, Simon. It’ll be written by executive director David E. Kelley, already well-known for several popular shows from L.A. Law and Chicago Hope to Ally McBeal. His newest show, Monday Mornings, is a medical drama for TNT.
