The Albuquerque Browncoats are very excited to host the Browncoat Ball 2012 weekend in Albuquerque, New Mexico, September 14-16. The website is fully operational and ready to take registrations.

Home of the ancient Pueblo Browncoat rebellion against an overbearing Coquistador-Missionary Alliance, New Mexico is rich with big skies, natural wonders, history, art, culture, food and entertainment. The Albuquerque Browncoats have been active for seven years hosting regular shindigs, CSTS screenings, and more. They have a wonderful weekend in store, which should be una fiesta mas grande, as they say around there.

Events start on Friday with welcome reception and Unificaction Day Renunciation Party (dress as your favorite character from the ‘Verse).   Get your Browncoat Ball tickets, pre-order your limited-edition T-shirt, and be sure to book your hotel room as well.  A special rate for the weekend has been secured. FYI: When reserving a hotel room – the rate will apply to reservations up to two days prior and up to two days after the Ball weekend nites of Fri & Sat. ALSO – If you choose the $20 room upgrade, you will be able to be on the 8th (“club”) floor. The upgrade puts you on the same floor as the Hospitality Suite, has a few other perks, and helps in efforts to take over the whole floor so outsiders are less likely to be amongst us complaining about the noise!
