Of course the show sounds like a rom-com cliché: a couple decides to get married on a whim and then wonder if they can make it work. The difference is they’re both guys: a baseball player (Sean Hemeon) and an actor (Brad Bell).

The first season of episodes was a big hit and even featured an appearance by Nathan Fillion. No word yet on who will be part of season two, but we do know the newlyweds will be moving to a new place. The latest newsletter has this picture of Cheeks. The Facebook page has this preview as well.

Recently, the show raised 60 thousand dollars through a Kickstarter campaign. The proceeds will be used for production costs.

Espenson and the cast will be appearing at several cons this summer and fall, including San Diego Comic-Con in July, ATX Austin Texas TV Festival in June, Geek Girl Con in Seattle in August, and the New York Comic-Con in October.
