This is Joss Whedon’s year at Comic-Con. He was part of a unique experience with J.J. Abrams. He announced he is the director of The Avengers, as people have all but confirmed, and he is still beloved by millions….although he did admit at last Friday’s panel, he does feel a bit intimidated.

It was five years ago that some very lucky fans got their first look at Serenity at Comic-Con. This year, you can get a chance to see the movie again in a special event from the California Browncoats. Proceeds will benefit Equality Now. It takes place Thursday, July 22nd at the Gaslamp 15. Tickets are 15 dollars, and a link will be available at Fandango.com. Anyone can go, whether you have a Comic-Con ticket or not.
