After Godric’s dramatic death scene, Sookie drops by a dejected Eric’s boudoir. Face and bare chest streaked with his own bloody tears, Eric returns Sookie’s sympathy kisses before opening wide for something more. Alas it’s just a dream, and Sookie wakes up in the car with Jason, the two on their way back to Louisiana. Unfortunately the scene awaiting them in Bon Temps is no dream; a man beans himself on a lamppost while a blood-bathed couple strolls the streets. Man, have property values fallen since the Stackhouses left town!
