New Angel Arc Is Stronger But Still Struggles

WARNING: SPOILERS BELOW
 
About a year ago, the Angel and Buffy comics were head-to-head in terms of quality. Bryan Lynch was dazzling more and more with each issue and really gave Buffy a run for the money. Lynch’s writing was so Joss-like, that he made me hear the Angel theme song kick in a few times. I will even admit that he got me to shed a tear for “Connor.” Who knew that was possible?

R.I.P. Robert Culp

Robert Culp of "I, Spy" and "The Greatest American Hero" passed away today of a heart attack at age 79.  http://www.whedonopolis.com/wp-content/uploads/gallery/images/conventions/comic_con_2008-greatest_american_hero_interview/bobculp-sdcc-day1.jpg
