Episode Review: Supernatural 5×17 – 99 Problems

This has been an odd season for Supernatural. We’ve had some amazing episodes ("The End", "Changing Channels", "The Song Remains the Same" and others) and some blah episodes ("Sam, Interrupted", "Fallen Idols" etc etc…). This episode was written by Julie Siege — who wrote the aforementioned "Fallen Idols" — and directed by Charles Beeson, who has directed some fantastic episodes, like "Changing Channels", and some blah episodes like "Sin City." All this boils down to an uneven episode with sadly more bad bits then good.

Episode Review: Supernatural 5×16 – Dark Side of the Moon

Across beliefs and religions, the idea of an Even, a Heaven, a Valhalla, or whatever else it’s been called, has been the ultimate place for those looking for an afterlife. So it makes sense that Supernatural would take the idea of Heaven and give it one of their own twists, especially when the Winchesters head on up.
