In 2003, two Buffy fans came together, not only to share their love for the show, but also to put their passion to good use. Together, they formed Slay-A-Thon, a benefit that raises money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Slay-A-Thon organizes a full day of watching the best Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel episodes, where all the fans get together to indulge themselves in the best moments from the series. Last year Slay-A-Thon added Dr. Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog to the event. Together, they laugh and cry; all the time raising money via sponsorship to help children with life threatening diseases fulfill their dreams.
We all know the story about that famous lunch Joss Whedon had with Eliza Dushku. We all know how she complained that so many producers and casting directors thought they knew what kind of roles should could handle better than she did. We all know Joss thought Eliza could do so much more, if given the chance. That chance of course, turned out to be Dollhouse
As we’re about to wrap up this season, and maybe the series overall, it’s time to see if Eliza has convinced people she can be more than just Faith
